Parent-Teacher Association (PTA)
The PTA is a group of parents and community members committed to supporting Amidon-Bowen students and their families. There is no membership fee or form. All parents and community members are welcome.
Over time, the PTA has worked to build strong, equitable relationships among parents and community members and to create a trusting school environment through facilitated conversations to empower members to build relationships across racial and socioeconomic lines.. Through this work, the PTA established VIBE, which stands for Visions of Integration Building Equity. VIBE facilitates conversations to empower parents and community members to navigate changing relationships across racial and socioeconomic lines.
